Phew. What a Championship match that was. Congratulations to both Emory and Chicago on a hard fought battle and big congratulations to Emory for earning the UAA Championship. Again.
A few weeks ago we attempted to contact every senior player in women’s D3 tennis to get a pulse on what the kids are up to these days once they graduate from college. The responses we got were too great to smush into one article, so I’m here to present our new Senior Series! For the next 5-6 weeks, we’ll be publishing the profiles and future plans of some pretty accomplished ladies, and in the last week we’ll take you on a birds eye view and tell you what the most common future career of the ladies of D3 tennis is! Or at least the respondents to my survey. Here’s a hint – you’ll be impressed. If you or someone you know is a senior who hasn’t filled out our survey, fret not! There is still time! Here is the link: https://forms.gle/jkXEk3stfdu3uVTSA. If you don’t *love* attention and just want to fill out the survey but not be singled out in an amazing feature like the ones below, there’s an option for that too! Just click “No you may not publish my name.”
This week, in honor of the UAA tournament, we’re going to start with seniors of the UAA! If any of you are reading this, congratulations on all your accomplishments. In an effort to make the survey short and sweet I didn’t ask any hard questions, but if any seniors are reading this and want me to include a blurb about why you chose D3 tennis and what it has meant to you, shoot me an email! For those seniors that I’m covering today, comment your love for D3 below!

If there are any medical issues on the courts down at Sanlando Park, these ladies have you covered. I think with these five ladies we can all begin to get a taste of just how well-rounded our D3 players really are. I know there is always going to be a little bit of anxiety associated with taking a big step in your life like graduating from college, but I hope that D3 tennis has given you wonder women confidence, a support network, and the life skills to accomplish anything you set their minds to! Keep an eye out for more senior profiles next week as we begin the countdown to NCAAs and graduation! And to poor Michele, who is probably locked away right now studying for the LSAT, we at the Blog wish you the best of luck. She probably won’t see this since she’s busy but someone who knows Michele pass it on!

I think you forgot Daniela Lopes of Emory
I confirmed that Coach Bryant forwarded her the survey but Lopez didn’t fill it out. Not much I could do about that, sorry. Thanks for reading!
Awesome series. Is this only limited to UAA Women’s players? Would be cool to also see other conference seniors (men and women) as well (I.E. NESCAC, SCIAC, Liberty League, NCAC, Centennial Conference, etc.). Either way great article and I look forward to reading future profiles on all the grads future plans!
Hello! Thanks for reading! I currently have ~70 responses from seniors all over the country! I attempted to send it to every school but obviously I cant control which coaches pass it along and which seniors actually fill it out. In the coming weeks I will do more profiles on different conferences and regions! I just started with UAA since the tournament was this past weekend. I only have responses from the women’s side this year but would love to get the men on board in the future.
