How did Tercek get chosen over Reid. Tercek has lost roughly 7 of his last 8 matches
I can assure you are not the only one wondering why Reid was left out. The answer I can give is that the committee seemed to believe that both Tercek and Barr’s full body of work was stronger than Reid’s. I wish I had a better answer for you. All three are great players, and I absolutely believe that both Luke and Tyler are capable of making a deep run at NCAAs, but to me it seems that Carl was overlooked.
If you look, there are 3 notable players that were ranked that got left out. Rozenwasser, Liu and Reid. All 3 of these guys have been injured. My guess is that they were offered the slot, but had to decline. Otherwise it makes not sense that these players are not included
