2017 NCAA Bracket Challenge

Now that Selection Monday has come and gone, it’s time to cover your eyes and predict the most difficult bracket I’ve seen in quite some time. We’re back with the 4th year of our NCAA Bracket Challenge, and this year is going to be bigger and better than ever. We have experimented with a few sites, but decided to keep going with old faithful, simply because there are no better FREE alternatives. The link below will take you to the site, where you will need to sign up with a valid email address (if you give a fake email, you wont get the log in link sent to that email). I know signing up can be a pain, but let me remind you that IT’S FREE, the winner gets an interview on the site, and more. Possible prizes include an appearance on a podcast with AVZ, an invitation to blogger brunch, your name in the ticker, or A NEW CAR-eer as a guest blogger.

2017 NCAA Tournament: TEAM

1) Click on the link above.

2) Click on the link for “2017 NCAA Tournament” (after which you should see the draw).

3) Click the “Predict It” link, in the top left corner of the draw.

4) You do have to register with the site, but it’s completely free and in 4 years I have not gotten one email from them.

4a) Enter your name and REAL email. This is important. The name doesn’t have to be real, but the email does because you will get a confirmation link.

4b) Get your new password emailed to you (this is instantaneous).

4c) Enter your new password with your email into the site (after which you should be taken back to the draw).

5) Pick your 1st round matches! You pick a winner by clicking the bubble next to a team’s name. You do not need to do anything with the teams that have byes, as the bracket automatically advances them.  You can enter scores into the text box that appears in each match section.  These are not necessary, but a fun way to distinguish yourself from the competition.

6) After picking all 11 1st round matches, click enter at the bottom of the page (after which you should be taken to all 2nd round matchups). PLEASE NOTE ALL MATCHES WILL BE LOCKED IN AFTER PRESSING ENTER. IF YOU WISH TO CHANGE YOUR PREDICTIONS, YOU WILL HAVE TO DELETE YOUR BRACKET AND START OVER (at the bottom left of the page).

7) Pick all 16 2nd round matches.

8) Press enter at the bottom of the page to be presented with 3rd round matchups.

9) Continue picking and hitting enter at the end of each round until you have picked a winner!!!

10) Remember, the deadline is Thursday morning at the start of the first match! If you have any questions, feel free to comment, email (D3Northeast@gmailcom) or tweet at any of your friendly neighborhood bloggers. Have fun, and good luck!
