5/6 Division III Power Rankings

It’s Tuesday! And that means another edition of the DIII Power Rankings, brought to you by your favorite bloggers in DIII Tennis.  Not like you have any other choice, but that’s besides the point.  These will be the final power rankings before regionals, so make sure you air your dirty laundry before the tournament.  We’re open to arguments, suggestions, and comments all the time.  Unless you start going overboard. Heh, let’s get to it.

Quick Thoughts:

Amherst, Up 4 Spots – The readers got their wish! After Amherst beat Middlebury in the NESCAC championship by a decisive margin, the bloggers decided to move them up in the rankings.  Let it be known that I previously had them at #3, but now they’re at #2 for me.  I’m just ahead of the curve.  Not like that’s my Finals Prediction or anything… or is it…

Whittier, Up 3 Spots – I’d like to give Whittier some love after their first 3rd place finish in the SCIAC tournament.  Great job Poets for keeping your heads high and finishing out your season on a really strong note.  You beat two teams that were participated at Indoor Nationals this year, which is an accomplishment.  I’m looking forward to your second year under Coach Belletto and I’m sure there are more things to come.

Do your worst, readers! Good luck to all in the NCAA Tournament.  ASouth, OUT.
