This Week in Highlights, 4/11

Another edition of This Week in Highlights has come for your viewing pleasure. Once again, I took a week off from TWIH in order to generate some more content and also just give myself some time to do all the things that I need to do with my real life. But never fear, my twitter likes are always filled with TWIH material, waiting to debut on the site for everyone to see. I honestly don’t know what’s on tap for this week’s highlights, so you and I will find out together as I scroll through the gold mine that is my twitter feed. Let’s get off to a hot start like Tim Tebow’s beginning to single-A baseball.

First, let’s head down to the South and visit the up and coming Millsaps team. How are they challenging teams like UT-Tyler and Sewanee to close nail-biters? Well, the answer is right here. Play this to the tune of “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” by ZAYN and Taylor Swift, starting at 2:24.

Yea, so the song was a total ruse just to make you listen to my man ZAYN. You’re welcome. Off to Texas, where we stop in at the Middlebury vs. CMS battle in the midst of a couple tornado warnings and a couple trips to Torchy’s Tacos.  Here’s Kyle Schlanger at the jump.

Wish we had the actual point, but hey, we’ll make do with this great celebration. Bautista bat flip be damned. Give us a Schlanger racket throw.  Let’s head to Wabash, where we know that the Little Giants always fight.  Here’s senior Harry (don’t know his last name) with a serve and volley on match point. Bold. #Seniors2017

Not really the most exciting point, but sometimes the highlights aren’t there in a week. Let’s celebrate a much more jovial accomplishment, where Vassar senior Nick Litsky celebrated his 100th win over Sean Ko of MIT. Tennis Recruiting ratings be damned, Litsky has got 100 career wins!

Let’s flip the switch to a much LESS jovial update, well, depending on which team you were on. Here’s a tweet from Hampden-Sydney tennis, which is actually kind of sad.

Greensboro needs to bring the bloggers on their team or something, because they have 6 guaranteed losses right now. Anyways, that’s really all I got for you in TWIH. Hopefully, the NESCAC steps up and gives us some more highlights! Come on, guys!  Here’s Blake Oetting wishing you goodbye, until next time 🙂

Scary. ASouth, OUT.
