I’ll consider it. At this point, I would have a hard time naming 20 more teams that have ever come within shouting distance of a nationally ranked win. DIII isn’t nearly as deep at DI or even DII. It’s also not a sport like basketball where the 50th best team in the country has any shot of beating a top 10 team, so sometimes blossoming programs just sort of get lost in the static, not that they’re undeserving of attention.
Based on these rankings the Pool C teams would be – CLU, Bowdoin, Williams, Middlebury, Redlands, Case, and Wash U.
Wash U really milking last year. First teams out are CMU and Amherst, with Bates and a surprising Whittier team right behind. As we can see, the UAA, NESCAC, and SCIAC conference tournaments will be important as always.
you should do he top 50 after the season ends. i think a lot of people would be interested.
shot not

Did i just hear that correctly??? Did w&l just beat ncwc 5-0????
The final score was 7-2, but the match was clinched at 5-0
Ever consider making your own top 100 list?
Top 100? You crazy? I’ve considered top 40
Also, ITA rankings aren’t related to NCAA selection.
yes I am aware. However they are taken into account, so I wouldn’t say they aren’t related. They give us a good gauge, wouldn’t you agree?

I think one of the teams you mentioned in your list would have to win the NESCAC, which would leave one more pool C slot open?
Correct! Readers always catching my oversights. However, I believe it would be safe to assume Amherst jumps CMU.
