Week #1, 2012 Michael Razumovsky and Adam Putterman

D3tennis- Michael Razumovsky

Razumovsky only went 3-3 at National Indoors, but the freshman continues to impress for the Lords. In their victory over Pomona-Pitzer, Razumovsky contributed a clutch tiebreaker victory in doubles with partner C.J. Williams, and then came back in singles to win a three-set battle with Pomona sophomore, Chris Wiechert. He narrowly missed singles and doubles victories against Emory in the semifinals, but he breezed through his singles match against fellow freshman, Ross Putterman, in the 3rd place match to lift the Lords to victory.

d3tennisguy- Adam Putterman

The elder Putterman was dominant at #1 singles this weekend, rolling past Brinker, Nurenberg, and Burgin to put the Bears in good position to win all three matches. He also teamed with Ross Putterman for a victory at #1 doubles over Kenyon, and narrowly missed doubles win against Santa Cruz, losing in a tiebreak. Putterman’s play was a definite bright spot in a disappointing weekend for Wash U.

Honorable Mention: Tim Rosensteel (Kenyon), Juan Luis Chu (GAC)

Adam Putterman (Sr.)
