2019 Power Rankings, Fall Edition

Lo and behold, I have finally come through and posted the Power Rankings. These rankings will now cue the ITA Rankings to be posted any day now, because they are probably waiting for us to post so they have an idea of where to put people. And also not rank MIT, which is the best thing that the ITA did last year. As NewCentral tries to find me a hot GIF for the featured image of this article, I’d like to take this time to say that we’re glad to have all of you follow the Blog. I have been a bit more out of the loop this year, but that does not mean that I won’t come out firing come spring season. You can see some of my fire takes and blurbs in the pictures below, where we arbitrarily rank schools based on our knowledge and how we’re feeling that day. But, such is the state of DIII Tennis, and we love it. Welcome, one and all, to your inaugural Power Rankings of the 2019 Season. Don’t get too offended right off the bat, because you got a whole Spring Season of me taking shots at you in my free time at work. By the way, I beat the ITA on rankings. Just want to make that known. Damn haters.

ASouth, OUT.

Is beating GAC the only way Carleton gets into nationals? They’re honestly stacked this year

Yes, Carleton should be solid but they are only going to make NCAAs if they beat GAC and win the MIAC.

    Nice Job! Go Deis!

Could you do a Stevens season preview this year? Didn’t have one up for the ducks last year.

Trinity(TX) changed their logo a couple of years ago. Seems the Detroit Tigers objected to the one you have here.

A very gracious ranking for the Lords. Please remember that I have been coaching tennis most likely longer than you have been alive D3 AtlanticSouth. So I may be remembering rankings from 10-15 years ago. Or maybe 5 years.

While waiting for the ITA rankings, I have applied for my AARP Card.
